Alessandra & Andrés – Passion, Technique and Authenticity
Alessandra y Andrés are an international dance duo who bring incredible energy to every performance. Their connection on stage and their passion for dance create a unique experience for audiences and students alike. Their work blends technique, musicality and authenticity, always staying true to the spirit and roots of Salsa Caleña. Through their performances and classes, they share not only their knowledge but also their love for this vibrant dance style.
Andrés, was born in Cali (Colombia), the cradle of salsa, and has spent more than 15 years training dancers and creating unique performances. He has taught classes to groups, couples, and solo dancers, and has designed choreographies for high-level competitions and shows. His talent and discipline have led him to win the World Salsa Championship at the Salsa Open and the Caribbean DanceSport in Puerto Rico.He also worked as a professional dancer on luxury cruise ships in Turkey.
Alessandra, born in Italy and professionally trained in Spain, brings nearly 10 years of experience teaching and refining her art. Her career is very versatile: she began as a child in urban dance styles and, over time, expanded her training to different salsa styles: Salsa LA, On2, Afro, and finally Salsa Caleña. Andrés has been her mentor in Salsa Caleña and Acrobatic Salsa, guiding her to achieve an exceptional technical and artistic level. She has also participated in the World Salsa Footwork Championship.
As an artistic duo, Alessandra y Andrés They have been working together for two years and have achieved remarkable milestones in a very short time. They have represented their talent on international stages, participating in Got Talent Portugal, where they reached the semifinals, and later in America’s Got Talent.
Currently, they travel across salsa festivals around the worldwhere they share their talent and passion through workshops, shows, and collaborations with some of the most recognized names in the industry.
Despite their international projection, they remain faithful to their community in Barcelona, where they teach regular salsa courses. Their classes combine impeccable technique, contagious energy, learning methods developed over many years, and personalized attention that transforms beginners into confident dancers and advanced students into artists with stage presence.
They also prepare professional choreographies for solo dancers, couples, or groups, tailored for events, shows, and competitions.
Their mission is to transmit the unique energy, precision, and joy of Salsa Caleña, forming confident, expressive, and passionate dancers. With Alessandra and Andrés, every class is an experience that brings together technique, rhythm, and emotion.
